in the country, we would leave our doors open for the dogs to go in and out on nice days.

About five years ago, within being gone for 4 hours, I had a house full of stink bugs. I put 8 gallons of water in my large wet vac, and started vacuuming all around the walls of the house, then took down all the pictures, then opened all drawers, took everything out, and cleaned away all day for two days ending up with a wet vac full of stink bugs where you could see very little water because it was that thick.

Every Sept, from there on out, there would be days where hundreds would be sunning themselves on the vinyl. I would go out there and spray them away.

They say it got bad up there because of the apple and peach orchards near by.

I moved to outside Richmond 15 months ago, and rarely see a stink bug. I may have caught dozen in the house since I been here. For 5 years through winter outside of Warrenton, we were always finding stink bugs. It was horrible, and everyone in the area had them in there sheds (the heat kills them with no water, thus hundreds of dead ones when you got around to cleaning the shed\garage), cars, and houses.
